De nuevo volvemos con las cosas que se quedaron por el camino o vivieron épocas más felices. Ahora cogen polvo por los rincones oscuros de los trasteros, y casi nadie se acuerda de ellos. Casi... (ñaran!).
- Las gafas 3D
Imágenes que cobran vida!!! La verdad es que impresionaron bastante en toda una época. Para algunos era la viva imagen del futuro, y para otros, que buscaron en los ácidos experiencias similares, el hundimiento en el infierno de las drogas.
Mucha gente intentó hacerse unas gafas caseras con el papel que forra los quesos de bola, obviamente, con escaso éxito.
Solían regalarlas, de ahí que los materiales no fueran muy allá (cartón).
Recuerdo que vi Pesadilla en Elm Street 5 en 3D, con sus debidas gafas. Toda una experiencia religiosa.
Creíamos que en el futuro todas las películas se verían con estas modernas gafas.
- Las máquinas con pantalla monocromo
Estos juegos electrónicos desembarcaron en la península a finales de los 80 cuando no existía en nuestra cultura la Game Boy ni la adicción a los videojuegos tenía aún su primera víctima.
De la mano de Nintendo nos llegó las más famosas como "Donkey Kong" y "Zelda" a 2 pantallas. Un lujazo. No obstante, las copias baratas no eran menos divertidas.
Estos juegos se caracterizaban por su manejo sencillo, movimientos totalmente bruscos, repetitivos e imposibles (casi) de terminar.
Su poder de atracción era inmenso, descendiendo así el índice pajeril de la chavalería. En fin, fue para casi todos, la primera toma de contacto con el mundo del vicio.
El futuro delante de tus ojos.
- Matutano a la brasa
¿Alguien se acuerda de esta variedad de patatas fritas? ¿Qué clase de producto químico le daba el supuesto sabor a brasa?
Lo cierto es que siempre vivió a la sombra de otros sabores, como el clásico "al jamón". Eran las segundonas, como Luigi, el hermano de Mario.
El sabor era bueno, al menos bastante mejor que las York'eso, y estuvieron un tiempo considerable en el mercado.
- Hugo
Hugo es el personaje de un juego que nunca ha sido digno. Su vida siempre estuvo relacionada con los teléfonos puesto que todos lo conocimos en la televisión. Alguien llamaba y comenzaba el juego. El concursante jugaba con las teclas del teléfono. La situación era esta: la madre, que no tiene aclare, apretando 3 ó 4 teclas del teléfono a la vez y mirando la televisión, el niño gritando y tirando las verduras al suelo y el abuelo a grito pelao luchando por que no se le caiga la dentadura.
Ese tiempo ya pasó y ahora vuelve a nosotros en juego java para los teléfonos móviles. De teléfono a teléfono. Una vida muy triste para una mascota mediocre que nunca confesó su atracción sexual por Topo Gigio.
Próximamente en la PS3...
- La puta mili
La revista hermana de "El jueves". Especialmente dedicada a lo militar. Venían mandos militares cabrones humillados, cetmes y tías en pelotas.
Su coste era muy bajo y recuerdo que daban un premio en un concurso de 1 peseta más de lo que se pagaba en el servicio militar.
Su fin llegó algo antes de la desaparición del servicio militar, que tampoco llegó a nuestros días.

- Los chicles con azúcar
Es increíble como la mierda de los Orbit y compañia han invadido los quioskos desplazando a los chicles con azúcar, que eran 3 ó 4 veces más grandes y el sabor duraba más de 10 segundos. Viva el dentista de cada diez que sí los recomendaba!!!
Seamos sinceros, los chicles sin azúcar son tristes y dan pena, nada comparable a la avalancha química y azucarada de los chicles con azúcar. El sabor permanecía, se podían hacer globos y no daba la impresión de masticar un cacho de cartón. Hasta venían con pegatinas para coleccionar.
Esto sí es una orgía de sabores.

Esos legendarios "boomers" que causaron sensación cuando los anunciaba ese superheroe de brazos casi ilimitados.Yo me acuerdo que ellos (al parecer) sacaron la moda esta de los chicles con porqueria dentro (vease polvos pica-pica, esa especie de caramelo líquido), no apto para estomagos delicados.
Los que si que me gustaban (por su sabor original) eran los chicles de "a peseta". No sé Palmz si tu los habras conocido pero eran la caña. Como su nombre indica valían 1 peseta y eran, claro, minúsculos. Para poder hacer una pompa en condiciones, tenias que comprarte 7 u 8 y echártelos a la boca de una vez.Tenían ese sabor a chicle original echo con la suela de apargatas viejas (como decía mi abuela que en paz descanse).
